Mrs. Schneck is survived by a son, Carl Arnold (Glenna) Schneck of Florida; daughters, Alice L. Belt of New York and Carolyn A. (Norman) Miller of Lafayette; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Schneck Jr.; and a son, Benjamin Schneck. William G Smith Jonesville Road William G. Smith, 82, of Jonesville Road died at 12:08 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Smith was a laborer at Kroot Corp. for 20 years. He attended Hope House of Prayer and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trading. The wkuam a. trrx funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Click Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rick Leonard officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until serv- ice time Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Columbus Regional Hospital Dialysis Center. Abner Jan. 29, 1943, in Glasgow. Survivors include his wife; sons, William (Diane) Smith of Greensburg, Ky, Gill (Cindy) and David Smith, both of North -Vernon, and Ronnie (Wanda) Smith of Columbus; daughters, Mary (Coy) Sluder of Columbus, Ruby (Merrill) Rafferty of North Vernon and Lorrie (Mike) Crouch of Hope; 22 grandchildren; 28 greatgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ellis Smith of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.
