and Mrs. Oris Vandivier have returned to their home on East South Street after spend- ing five weeks Northern Eu- rope on a visit with their son, James Vandivier, and his family, who are living in Oslo, Norway, where he is a member of the United States State Department staff. Mr. and Mrs. Vandivier were met on their arrival in Rotterdam, Holland, by their son and daughter-in-law and the two grandchildren, Steven, age six, and Dianne, four.

The family group then went to Delft, where they met Linda French, Mrs. Oris Vandivier's niece, who is a secretary at the American Embassy in Brussels, Belgium. She spent two days with them as they toured Holland. See Ancestral Town A highlight of this part of the trip was a visit to Veer, the ancestral home of the Vandiviers.
