Plans were made for a Christmas party. December 23. at the Presbyterian maw with the Rev. and Mrs. Gordcn Leech.

Each person is to bring a 25-cent gift for a grab baj. The hostess served doughnuts and coffee. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pearson have moved to the Lcn Brow property.

Mary Young and her daughter, Mrs. Mamie McCord, at Mount Auburn, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Young is 96 years old. Mr.

The offering, which goes for the annual Thanksgiving offering, was not complete but will be reported later. The young people had charge of the music for the worship service and the Rev. George Wyatt preached a "Thanksgiving" sermon. The choir will meet on Wednesday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Albert White for rehearsal. The Youth Fellowship district meeting will be held at Martinsville nevt Sunday afternoon and evening. The Fellowship class will have their regular monthly meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ruelf next Sunday afternoon and evening, vices.

On Sunday evening, December 8 the Missionary Society will hold their December meeting at the church, with the men in charge of the program. Martha Canary, Merril Dugan and Junior Ramsey attended the Purdue I. U. football game at Lafayette last Saturday. They were accompanied home by Betty Canary, who spent the week-end at home.

Miss Alice Flinn, of also spent the week-end at home and attended the Mullendore-Ramsey wedding. The church school workers meeting was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Canary, Tuesday evening. Mr.

and Mrs. S. P. Beaman and Mr. and Mrs.

Harry Townsend and sons were guests of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Hawkins and family, of Cincinnati, Sunday, when they entertained with a turkey dinner. Mr. and Mrs.

Otis Sellers, of Ft. Worth, Texas, have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. T.

Records and other relatives in the county for the past several days. On Monday the party visited the Emily E. Flinn Home in Marion. Mr. and Mrs.

Charles L. Rueff entertained a few friends Sunday evening. Miss Erma Bachman Is remodeling the house on her farm. It is occupied by Mr. and Mrs.

Maurice Long. Mrs. Edna Vandivier left Saturday to spend several weeks with her brother, Charles Richardson and family at Bakersfield, Calif. She expects to stay until early next year. Mr.

and Mrs. Joe Garrett will spend some time with Mr. Vandivier. Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Townsend and son Bobby had as their guests Sunday, Mr. and. Mrs. Clarence Judy, of New Bethel. There was a large attendance at the Mullendore-Ramsey wedding at the church Sunday afternoon.
