She is in room-333. mm Vershel Rhoades Rites Announced Funeral services for Vershel L. Rhoades, formerly of Franklin, will he conducted in the G. II. Herrmarn Funeral Home.

1505 South East street, Indianapolis, at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Entombment is to be in the Washington Fark East cemetery mausoleum. A resident of Indianapolis for many years, Mr. Rhoades died in St. Vincent's Hospital.

Thursday, after being ill three months. Born in Franklin 52 years ago, Mr. Rhoades was employed for 12 years as a steam engineer by Chrysler Corporation. Member Of Church He was a member of the Garfield Park United Christian Church of Christ, the Southport Masonic lodge and the National Association of Power Engineers. The widow, Mrs.

Minnie R. Rhoades, two sons, Keith V. Rhoades, Artie S. Bishop; a daughter, Mrs. Beverley L.

Curtis, all of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren, survive. Others who remain are two sisters, Mrs. Audrey Pieper, of Indianapolis; Mrs: Betty Jane Powell, of Mooresville; and three brothers, Hershel Rhoades, of Orlando, Wiley Rhoades, of White-land; and Melvin Rhoades, of Jamestown. (Branch) "LOOK AT THAT CREAM PIE AND ME ON A DIET!" Mrs. May Hunt Dies At Residence EDINBURG Mrs. May Hunt, widow of the late James M. Hunt, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Ogilvie, in Taylors-ville at 8:30 p.m.

Thursday following an illness of several years. The Rev. Gene Mathews, Tay-lorsville Methodist church pastor, will conduct funeral rites in the Mutz Funeral Home here at 3 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be made in the Old Union cemetery.

Friends are invited to call at the funeral home. Mrs. Hunt was born in Missouri, June 28, 18G7, the daughter of Robert and Saraphene Jennings Critney. She was married to James M. Hunt on July 29, 1888.

He died on Jan. 22, 1954. She was a member of the Taylorsville Methodist church and an honorary member of the W.S.C.S. Surviving are the daughter, Georgia Ogilvie Taylorsville; a son Stanley Hunt of Columbus; three grandchildren. Mrs.

Banta Services Are Set Last rites for Samuel N. Banta, of Indianapolis, formerly of Franklin, have been set for Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock and will be in the J. C. Wilson Chapel the Chimes, 1234 Prospect street, Indianapolis. Burial will take place in the Greenlawn cemetery.
