On Thursday evening a group of girl gathered at the home of MaWe Bales to remind her of her fourteenth birthday. The evening waa spent very pleasantly, the most enjoyable feature being candy making. Yfilscn Bcdy Is Recovered From Ohio River Body of Jack Wilson, thirty- nine-year-old Middletown, Ken tucky man, was recovered early last Wednesday afternoon from the Ohio River near the Coast Guard station at Louisville, Ken tucky. he and his wife drowned on Saturday, April 25. 7" iicb oituniwri, ivcniucxy, about forty miles from where it Is thought she fell Into the river. Mr. Wilson was a son of the late Rev.

R. S. Wilson for many years pastor of Central Christian Church In Seymour, and Mrs. Bessie Wilson, who now lives in t. Matthew and Middle-town, Kentucky.

The Wilson are thought to have been thrown by choppy waters from their new 14-foot motor boat which they had owned only two weeks. The boat was found late the afternoon of April 25. Finding of the empty boat and the Identifying of Wilson's pet who apparently swam ashore, started the search for. the couple. Sclfrcs, 45, Crothersville Man dies At Silvercresf Funeral rite were held Thurs day afternoon from the- Crothers ville Methodist Church for Frank Thomas Self re 45 of TJroth- eravffle, who died Tuesday at Sil-vercrest State Sanitarium, New Albany, where hs had been a patient for twelve years. Mr. Scifre. who was a licensed embalmer, was a member of the Crothersville Methodist Church. In addition to the father, who lives In Crothersville. and the widow, who 1 a resident of Phoenix Arizona, Mr.
