Branum, 37, of Norman died at 4:37 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2001, at Bloomington Hospital. A resident of Jackson County most of her life, she was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Christian Church at Norman.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home. Calling will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery at Norman.

Memorials may be made to the Rebecca Branum Scholarship Fund, State Bank of Medora, 24 E. Main Medora, IN 47260. Mrs. Branum was born in Bedford Jan. 29, 1964, the daughter of the late Harry and Bonnie May Fields.

She married Terry Branum Aug. 1 1, 1987, at Norman. He survives. Also surviving are children, Missy Redman of Brownstown and T.J. Branum of Norman; a grandson, Tristan Lemarr; a brother, Tracy Lee Fields of North Vernon; and a sister, Joann Williams of Austin.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Fields. Charles sister Janice A. Galasso Cobleskill, N.Y. Columbus, died Friday, May 18, 2001, at her home following a lengthy illness. Mrs.

Galasso was a graduate of Columbus High School, Indiana University, with a degree in education, and 1 College of St. Rose in Albany, N.Y., with a master's degree in special education. She moved to San Diego in 1963 and then to Cobleskill in 1966. She was an elementary education teacher in Middleburg, N.Y., and Cobleskill Central School and was director of Cobleskill Head Start Child Development Center, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St.

Vincent de Paul Church in Cobleskill. The funeral was Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church with the Rev. Thomas F. Berardi officiating.

Burial was at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery, Memorials may be made to the Schoharie County Chapter of ARC, Schoharie, NY 12157; or Schoharie County Head Start Center, 26 Macarthur Cobleskill, NY 12043. Arrangements were made by Robert A. Guffin Funeral.Home in Cobleskill. Mrs. Galasso was born in Columbus Oct.

15, 1941, the daughter of Andy and Aldean Custer Dilk. She married Martin A. Galasso Feb. 12, 1966, in Columbus. He survives.

Also surviving are sons, Mark A. Galasso of Cobleskill and Martin A. Galasso Jr. of Summit, N.Y.; a daughter, Marsa A. Galasso of Summit; a granddaughter, Julia M.

Galasso; grandsons, Matthew A. and August M. Galasso; and a brother, Charles Dilk of Columbus. Janice A. Galasso, 59, Cobleskill, N.Y., formerly of Betty White's father William E.

Goldman English William E. Goldman, 77, of English died Sunday, May 20, 2001, at Paoli Convalescent Center. Mr. Goldman retired from Schmidt Cabinet Co. and was a former employee of Reynolds Metal in Louisville, Ky.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Debo Funeral Home in English with the Rev. Morris Larimore officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time.

Burial will be at Highfill Chapel Cemetery at Taswell. Mr. Goldman is survived locally by a daughter, Betty White of Columbus. Columbus Regional VISITING HOURS: 1 to 8 p.m. MATERNITY: General visiting 3 to 4 p.m.

Brandy and David Ramsey, West- Former Cummins. machinist Marvin Jolly Seymour BROWNSTOWN Marvin Jolly, 78, of Seymour died approximately Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at his home.

Mr. Jolly worked as a machinist at Cummins Engine Co. for many years and also owned and operated Jolly's Precision Sharpening in Seymour for 15 years. He was a member of Honeytown Christian Church. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m.

Friday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home with Louis Banks officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Robertson Cemetery in Honeytown.

Memorials may be made to Honeytown Christian Church. Mr. Jolly was born in Jennings County Jan. 22, 1923, the son of Everett and June E. Barnes Jolly.

He married Frieda Herekamp May 15, 1949, in Seymour. She died July 28, 1998. Surviving are children, Ramona K. Cecil of Seymour Allen D. Jolly of Louisville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jennifer Bode, Kelly Browning and Dale, Lorraine, Eric, Kayla and Kyle Jolly; and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Ellen Jolly; brothers, Earl, Oliver and Edwin Jolly; and a sister, Esther Kehrt. Self-employed laborer John R. Streeval Franklin EDINBURGH John R. Streeval, 51, of Franklin died at 3:07 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2001, at his home.

Mr. Streeval was a selfemployed laborer. The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Rest Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating.

There will be no calling. Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home. Mr. Streeval was born in Shelbyville Sept. 10, 1949, the son of Calvin Streeval of Edinburgh and Peggy Jones Stoner of Shelbyville.

Also surviving are brothers, Calvin Streeval Jr. and Philip G. Streeval, both of Columbus, and Gary D. Streeval of Edinburgh; and sisters, Peggy Lee Warner of Griffin and Sue Ann Robertson of Hope. Brown's Corner Chapel member Mary Taylor Welch Scipio NORTH VERNON Mary Taylor Welch, 88, of Scipio died at 7 a.m.

Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at her home. A 1931 graduate of Columbus High School, Mrs. Welch was a homemaker and a member of Brown's Corner Chapel near Scipio where she taught Sunday school for more than 50 years. She was a former member of TOPS in Hayden and enjoyed sewing, gardening and genealogy. The funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Friday at Brown's Corner Chapel with the Rev. Aryn Meritt officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp Rudicel Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Burial will be at Reddington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Brown's Corner Chapel. Mrs. Welch was born in Azalia Jan. 7, 1913, the daughter of Everett Lee and Jeanie Thompson Taylor.

She married Clarence E. Welch Feb. 26, 1939, in Jeffersonville. He survives. Also surviving are daughters, Janet Jones of Scipio and Marylynne Sharp of Reddington; a son, Joseph E.

Alma Lucas Hauersperger The funeral for Alma Lucas Hauersperger, 85, of South Holly Court was Monday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed Jewell Chapel, with the Rev. Samuel Chizmar officiating.

Ruthann Stam was organist. A eulogy was given by Judy Burns. Burial was at Garland Brook Cemetery. Pallbearers were Andy Kistner, Don, David and Chris Dickens, Amy Likens, Diana Davidson, and Jerry and Gearry Hancock. Honorary pallbearer was Don Lucas.

Mrs. Hauersperger died Wednesday 16, 2001, at her home. Hershell Uriah Mars The funeral for Hershell Uriah Mars, 88, of North Vernon was Saturday at Dove-Sharp Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon with Lionel Talbott and the Rev. William A. Ramey officiating.
