Luzier had been a teacher at Columbus High School, worked at Camp Atterbury's Wakeman Hospital during World War II, served as Columbus Township trustee and was secretary to the city engineer. Training takes break for shots Region Staff and Wire Reports EDINBURGH Indiana National Guard members training at Camp Atterbury for a mission in Bosnia took time out from military exercises to get a round of vaccinations and have their teeth checked. A 100-member infantry unit, called Charlie Company 1-152, is scheduled to leave in late winter or early spring to join NATO peacekeeping forces in Bosnia. The Tell City-based unit would have been deployed regardless of the Sept.

11 terrorists attacks, but the company's commander, Capt. Chris Lee, said the attacks likely expedited the orders. The guard members trained this week at Camp Atterbury and are expected to return for another week of training before deploying. Because Bosnia lacks modern dental facilities, soldiers waited in line Wednesday to have their teeth checked. They were also vaccinated for diseases such as measles, mumps, and rubella, meningitis and tetanus.
