SARASOTA, Fla. Mary S. (Foster) Alexander Mary S. (Foster) Alexander, 69, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Fla.

She was a resident of Sarasota, and a former resident of Morgantown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Alexander. Arrangements are pending with Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation Personalization Center in Morgantown. INDIANAPOLIS Ruth M.

Berry Ruth M. Berry, 87, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006. She was a resident of Indianapolis. Survivors include her daughter, Janet Harris of Indianapolis; two granddaughters; and two great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Gertrude (Carson) Adams; and her husband, William Berry. A memorial service will be conducted at 7 tonight at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Stirling-Gerber Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Road in Indianapolis. Friends may call from 6 p.m.

until service time today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens in Bloomington at 11 a.m. Tuesday. BLOOMINGTON Raymond M. Bridwell Raymond M.

Bridwell, 89, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, Oct. 25, 2006, at his home with his loving family at his side. He was a resident of Bloomington. Ray was born July 21, 1917, in Bedford to Fred Bridwell and Arlie (Gyger) Bridwell. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Margaret (Hodges) Bridwell, in 1991.

Ray retired in 1979 from Sarkes Tarzian after 30 years as air trimmer division manager. His passion was his family. He enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting. Winters were spent in Nokomis, for the past 24 years. He always looked forward to morning coffees with his close friends.

Ray leaves behind his loving children, Judy (Steve) Cobb of Franklin, Robin Bridwell of Bloomington, Kathy (Jack) Milne of Bellevue, John (Kathy) Bridwell of Bloomington, Margi (Marc) Ludwig of Bloomington and Joseph (Karin) Bridwell of Indianapolis. He also leaves behind his siblings, Bob Bridwell, Martha (John) Buker, Jean Bloyd and brother-in-law Kenny Hodges; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ray had 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth Yee, Steve Cobb, Erin Werner, Grant Milne, Angela Dintaman, Alta Colley, Kate Arthur, Ginny Haddan, Hannah McKinney and John McKinney. He had 11 great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Nolan, Cameron and Larissa Yee, Arlie and Will Cobb, Emily and Olivia Werner, Celeste Dintaman and Madison and Davis Colley. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Van, Vaughn, Guy Bernard, Paul, Jack and Bill; and two sisters, Elizabeth Moore and Mildred Glover.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, 205 E. Kirkwood in Bloomington. Reception time with the family will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the space at the church.

Edwards Florence P. Edwards, 88, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove. She was a longtime resident of Franklin.

She was born Feb. 17, 1918, in Quincy, to the late John Henry and Ida (Powell) Baecker. She married Paul G. Edwards on Feb. 11, 1940.

He preceded her in passing. Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Bishop of Trafalgar; three grandchildren, Christine Hicks of Franklin, Tina Moore of Westport and Ashley (Mullinix) McCleod of Virginia Beach, and eight great- grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her daughter, Lynda Mullinix; two sisters, Iona Kappner and Vera Baecker; and her brother, Milton Baecker. She was a graduate of Quincy High School in Quincy, Ill. She was first employed by Montgomery Ward and the S.S.

Kresge Co. for four years. After moving to Franklin in 1954, she and her husband owned and operated Edwards Dime Stores until their retirement in 1984. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Epsilon Sigma Alpha.

She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and was treasurer of the council for eight years. Florence was also an avid bridge player and bird watcher and loved her flower garden. The Rev. Peter Jessen will conduct a memorial service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin.

A private burial will precede the memorial service at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Madison Franklin, IN 46131. INDIANAPOLIS Milton L.

Holt Milton L. Holt, 83, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at his residence in Indianapolis. Survivors include his wife, Mary Catherine; a daughter, Kay Herald; a brother, Donald Holt; and a sister, Oakleen Bratcher, all of Humbolt, two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Minnie Holt.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. Memorial contributions may be made to St.

Francis Hospice, 438 Emerson Greenwood; or to the American Cancer Society, 6030 W. 62nd Indianapolis, IN 46278. FRANKLIN Iris Arnold Lee Iris Arnold Lee, 94, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at her residence in Franklin. Survivors include a son, John Lee of Perrysburg, Ohio; a daughter, Ann Bingham of Whiteland; a brother, Alvin Arnold of Martinsville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Grace (Campbell) Arnold; and her husband, John William Kenneth Lee. The Rev. Kevin Able will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Neal Summers Mortuary, 110 E. Poston Road in Martinsville.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 tonight and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 6030 W. 62nd Indianapolis, IN 46278; or to Association, 9135 N.

Meridian Suite B4, Indianapolis, IN 46260-1878. GREENWOOD Martha L. Mottweiler Martha L. Mottweiler, 92, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006.

She was a resident of Greenwood and a former resident of Anderson. Survivors include two sons, Jerry L. (Kay) Fox of Greenwood and J. Eugene (Marjorie) Fox of Grand Junction, a brother, Earl (Rosemary) Gilmore of Summerfield, 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eva (Myer) Gilmore; and husbands, Hobart Fox and Victor Mottweiler.

The Rev. Steve Gettinger will conduct a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State in Pendleton.

Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park. INDIANAPOLIS Harry R. Powers Harry R.

Powers, 75, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006. He was a resident of Indianapolis. Survivors include his wife, Delina (Uffman) Powers; three sons, Harry R. Powers II of Cleveland, David Lee Powers of Yadkinville, N.C.

and Alan Powers of Plainfield; three daughters, Janice E. Dykes of Terre Haute and Rosezella and Anneliesa Powers, both of Indianapolis; one sister, Betty Qualkenbush of Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oda and Georgetta Powers. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S.

State Road 135 in Greenwood. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. JOHNSON COUNTY James J.

Sullivan Sr. In loving memory of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, James J. Sullivan born June 25, 1946, who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006. He will be sadly missed but always loved and remembered.
