Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Sweet was bom Dee: 29, 1919, at Seymour, the daughter of James W. and Mary Feeney Ruddick of Seymour.

She was married Feb. 9, 1946, at'Seymour, to Robert E. Sweet. He also survives. Other survivors include one brother, Gordon F.

Ruddick, Seymflur; one "sister, Jesse (Jessie) Hildreth, Seymour; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Bud Ruddick, Seymour, and several nieces and nephews. One brother preceded her in death. Paul's Lutheran Church, Jonesville. Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev.

Roland H. Roehrs at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran. Burial will be at St.

Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Persons jnay call at Burkholder. Funeral Home here after 3 p.m. Saturday and until 11:30 a.m. Sunday and then at the church from 12:30 p.m.

till time of service. Mrs. Meyer was born Sept. 4, 1904, at Waymansville, to Andrew and Emma Elkins Schroder. She spent most of her life in Bartholomew! County.

She was married April 12, 1925, at White Creek, to Edward Meyer and he survives. Also surviving are four children, Mrs. William Cortner, Columbus route 3, Mrs. Claude Gaier, Pleasant Valley, N.Y., and' Mrs. John Horman and Don Meyer, both of Columbus route 8, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, four half brothers and a half sister. Pete Hunter's Mother Former Columbus Resident James Givens Brownstown BROWNSTOWN-James T. Givens, 52, Brownstown, died at 6 :05 p.m. Friday at Jackson County Hospital in Seymour after suffering an apparent heart attack. Givens was a former resident of Columbus.

He was born May 31, 1928, in Paris, 111., a son of Arthur and Opal Vance Givens. The mother, a Columbus resident, survives. He was married April 30, 1950, in Columbus to the former Norma Sullivan, who died in 1974. Givens was a cooler manager at Rose Acre Farms In Jackson County. He was active in Boy Scout work in Columbus and was a member of Browns-town United Methodist Church.

Other survivors include Stephen Givens, Brownstown; a daughter, Cathy Givens, Indianapolis; and three sisters, Joan Baker, ftolumbus, Janyce Guckenberger, Nappanee, and Jean Boll. Northville, Mich. Muscatatuck Retiree Restaurant Worker Stella Hatfield North Vernon NORTH VERNON Stella Hatfield, 75, 41 Hayden Pike, North Vernon, died Sunday night at Jennings Community Hospital. She formerly worked at several area restaurants, Mrs. Hatfield was born in Virginia Nov.

24, 1904. She was the widow of William Hatfield who died in 1957. She also was widowed twice prior to marryJ ing Hatfield. Survivors include 12 children, Betty Branam, Joy Go-nek, Richard Day and Steve Gilley, all of North Vernon, Judy Angel, Holton, Patricia Fields, Jeffersonville, James L. Gilley, Austin, Timothy Gil-ley, Columbus, Ohio, Paul D.

Gilley, Marion, Ohio, William E. Day, Ostella, Edith Paucker, Detroit, and Melinda Bettneski, Long View, five sisters, Melinda Webb, North Vernon, Myrtle Baker, Kentucky, Enid Taulbee, Garden City, Linda Baumgardener and Myra Powers, both of New Mexico; a brother, Paul Van-over, New Mexico, 68 grandchildren and 40-great-grand-children. Children Here Died Tuesday Selma L. Schneider Rites Friday Selma L. Schneider, 62, Route died Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Schneider was born in Jackson County Dec. 12, 1917, the daughter of John and Emma Riegelman Christopher. She was married Feb. 14, 1947, to Raymond Schneider who survives.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the Couples Class at St. Peter's. She had been a long-time worker in the American Cancer Society, was a member of CREAK Club and had previously been employed by J.C. Penney, Diana Shop, and Seymour Shirt Factory.

Other survivors include three sons, Eric Schneider, 1023 Aspen, Gregory Schneider, Route 3, and Jeffrey Schneider, '3764 Candlelight; a daughter, Mrs. Wallace Hobbs, Rockford, 111; three brothers, Tom and Harold Christopher, Seymour, and Edgar Christopher, Millbank, S.D., and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Bakalar Retiree band include two sons, Ernest Hoeltke, Route 13, and Wayne Hoeltke, 1304 Union; a daughter, Lucille Hosea, Springfield, three sisters, Josephine Armuth, 2314 Franklin, Ethel Sims.

Saturday at Bartholomew County Hospital. She retired from Cummins Engine Co. in 1968 after working there 30 years. Mrs. Miller was born at Indianapolis Sept.

12, 1906, the daughter of Harvey and Minnie Armstrong Wilson. She was married Feb. 23, 1923, at Madison to Herbert Miller who died Sept. 16, 1979. She was a member of St.

Paul's Episcopal Church and Columbus Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter. Jean Glasson, 3119 27th; a granddaughter, Donna Vasick, 3134 Griffa; a sister-in-law, Mamie Wilson, North Madison, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. Died Tuesday Lena Hercamp Rites Thursday SEYMOUR Lena Hercamp, 78, Seymour route 1, died at 6:30 a.m.

Tuesday at her home. Her death was unexpected. She was a cook at the former Colony Chef Restaurant here, Sas a member of Reddington Wistian Church and for more then 55 years was a member of the OES chapter at Georgetown. She was born Feb. 6, 1902, in Harrison County, the daughter of Theodore and Euesta Brown Stilger.

She moved to Jackson County in 1943. She was married in September 1923 to William Hercamp, who died Feb. 5, 1949. Survivors include one son, Alien J. Hercamp, Seymour route 1 one stepson, Clarence Bud Hercamp, Palmyra one brother, Joseph Stilger, New Albany; one sister, Katherine Neafus, also of New Albany, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, two brothers and one sister. Nazarene Church Member Thelma I. McGee Nashvilfe NASHVILLE Thelma I. McGee, 69, Nashville route 1, died this morning at Blooming-ton Hospital following a five-month illness. She was a member of Nashville Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral service will be conducted by theRev. Don Ratliff at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bond Funeral Home here where persons may call after 1 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery here.

Mrs. McGee was bom in Brown County April 21, 1911, the daughter of George and Rosie Percifield Kelp. She was the widow of Claude McGee -(So died June 16, 1977. Survivors include a son, Dennis McGee, Nashville route two daughters, Carol Farlee, Nashville route 1, and Ber-nadine Pardue, Bloomington; three brothers, Lester and Dwight Kelp, Nashville route 1, and Rex Kelp, Nineveh route a sister, Wilma Bradley, Phoenix, and seven grandchildren. Paul's Lutheran Member Elsie Meyer Route 8 SEYMOUR Elsie A. Meyer, 77, Columbus route 8, died at 2:45 a.m. today at her home. Her death was unexpected. She was a member of St.

8 Public Service Retiree I Carl A. Whipker 3055 Washington Carl A. Whipker, 71, 3055 Washington, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday at Bartholomew County Hospital: He retired from Public Service Indiana in 1974 and was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

Wiiipker was born in Bartholomew County Aug. 13, 1908, the son of August and Minnie Rohmann Whipker. He lived his erly live near Taylorsville and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church Men's Club-and Bartholomew County Farm Bureau. He married Be-' atrice Wagner who died Sept.

27. 1973, and Helen Hercamp in March 1976, whp survives. Other survivors include two sons, Larry E. Whipker, 300 S. Hinman, and Marshall Whipker, 2521 Pearl; and two grandchildren, Staci Jo and Jarrod Carl Whipker.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Harry Whipker. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church building fund. Infant Daughter Candice Faith Knoy Lincoln Village Candice Faith Knoy, six-month-old daughter of Sam and Patricia Grissom Knoy, 2444 E. Lincoln Village, died unex-' pectedly at 7:32 a.m.

Wednes-day at Bartholomew County Hospital. The infant was born at Bartholomew County Hospital Dec 2, 1979. Other survivors include a brother, Daniel Her-mon Knoy, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Knoy 1724 Beam, and Mr.

Native of Belgium Lucien J. Raes Route 4 Lucien J. Raes, 76, Route 4, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday at Bartholomew County Hospital emergency room where he had been taken earlier by Medic I Ambulance. He and his wife came to the United States from Belgium in 1949, sponsored by Mr.

and Mrs. Jack Anderson, Elizabethtown. They became United States citizens in 1955. Raes was born in Belgium Dec. 26.

1903. the son of August and Pauline Titeca Raes. He married Margaret M. Waeles in Belgium Feb. 26, 1926, and she survives He was a veteran of the Belgian Army, a member of St.

Columba Roman Catholic Church and a retired Cummins Engine Co. employee. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James Roy Smith, Route 11, and Mrs. Marshall Perry, Hope route 1 a brother and two sisters, Raymond.

Simone and Denise, all of France, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis, and two grandchildren. French Lick Native ber of First United Methodist Church. She lived most of her life in Columbus. Other survivors include a son, Robert Turpin, San Diego, three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Western Electric Retiree Thomas B. Campbell Nashville NASHVILLE Thomas B. Campbell, 78, Nashville, a 1961 retiree of Western Electric Co. at Chicago, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday at his home.

He moved to Brown County in 1962. Campbell was born at Glasgow, Scotland, Jan. 10, 1902, the son of Andrew L. and Mary Bloomfield Campbell. He married Clarissa Harcourt at Crown Point Oct.

15, 1919, and she survives. He was a member of Nashville Masonic Lodge and Telephone Pioneers, a Electric organization. Other survivors include a son, the Rev. Donald J. Campbell, Alsip, 111., who will conduct the funeral service; three daughters, Lorraine Bush, Columbus, Ohio, Betty Brockett, Hazel Crest, 111., and Jean Coumbe, Nashville route two.

Former Restaurant Employee Annabella Irvine Seymour SEYMOUR Annabella' (Nancy) Irvine, 60, 415 Colvin Court, died at 4:48 p.m. Monday at Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis after an illness of b'i months. A former employee of the Pines Restaurant here, she was a member of the Moose Club here, of the Nazarene Church at North Hollywood, and of the Order of Eastern Star at Glasgow, Scotland. Mrs.

Irvine was born July 22 1919, at Glasgow, the daughter of Thomas and Annabella Welch. She moved to Jackson County in July 1966. She was married Sept. 19, 1946, at Glasgow to Thomas Irvine. He survives.

Also surviving are two children, Douglas T. Irvine, Las Vegas, and Scott A. Irvine, Seymour; one brother, Richard Welch, Los Angeles, one sister, Elizabeth Morton, also of Los Angeles, and two grandsons, Thomas and Darin Irvine. Mary Randall's Sister Alice McCoy North Vernon BROWNSTOWN Alice McCoy, 83, died at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday at Hoosier Hills Nursing North Vernon.

She was the sister of Mary Randall, Columbus. She was a pediatric nurse for more than 50 years and was a member of the Old Evangelical United Brethren Taylor's Chapel Church. Mrs. McCoy was born Dec. 17, 1896.

near Freetown, to George C. and Minnie B. Kindred Rose. She spent most of her life in Louisville and Jeffersonville. She returned to Jackson County in 1970 to live with another sister, Ethel Sud-darth, Freetown route 1.

She was married in 1925 to Earl McCoy who died in 1952. Other survivors include two brothers, Paul Rose, Indianapolis, and Kenneth Rose, Georgetown, 111., and nine nieces and nephews. Four Seasons Volunteer Margaret Rector Hope route 2 Margaret Rector, 83, Hope route 2, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Bartholomew County Hospital following a two-month illness. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church and worked as a volunteer through the church at Four Seasons Retirement Center for seven years.

Mrs. Rector was born July 8, 1897, at New Albany. She was the daughter of Frank and Josephine Weber whose maiden name also was Weber. She was married to Franklin Rector June 20, 1916, and he survives-She was a member of Rural Hawcreek Home Economics Club. Other survivors include five children, Frank Rector, Hope route 2, John Thomas Rector Middletown, Walter Rector, Colton, California, Melba.

Hill, Monticello, and Mary -Margaret Scott, Yucca 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Lydia M. Nay Sixth and Gladstone Lydia M.

Nay, 91, Sixth and Gladstone, died at 6.50 p.m. Wednesday at Bartholomew County Hospital where she was taken earlier in the day. She was the mother of Pete Hunter, 41 N. Ross. Funeral service will be conducted by Dr.

William Griffith at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home where persons may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. Nay was born at Henry-ville Feb. 11, 1889, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dai-ley.

The widow of Albert Nay, to whom she was married in 1927, she also was married In 1905 to Allen Hunter who died in 1912, and in 1917 to James Walker who died in 1924. She was a member of First Baptist Church and former employee of the Dairy Queen and Bran-denburger Furniture Co. Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren. She was a retired at-tendent of Muscatatuck State Hospital Training Center. She was born Aug. 18, 1914, at Commiskey, a daughter of Melvin and Gertrude Wycoff Corya. On June 10, 1933, she was married to Morris James, who survives. Mrs.

James was a member of Graham Presbyterian Church in Jennings County. Other survivers include three sons, Leland James, Wheaton, 111., Gene James, Laural, and Eddy James, North Vernon route a daughter. Patricia Brandenburg, Scipio route a sister, Eleanor McCaulau, Butlerville; a Eldo Corya, route and 13 grandchildren. Two sisters preceded her in death. Former Como Employee Deloris A.

Stewart 1051 Kelli Deloris A. Stewart, 50, 1051 Kelli, died at 2:01 p.m. Saturday at Bartholomew County Hospital. She was a former employee of Como Plastics and the former CP Electronics Co. Mrs.

Steward was born at Shelbyville Aug. 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Cecil Greenlee and Wilma Wilbur Greenlee, Taylorsville. She was married Dec. 31, 1948, to Forrest Stewart who survives. She was a member of Taylorsville United Methodist Church.

Surviving with her mother and husband are a son, Mark Stewart, at home; a granddaughter, Amber Ann Stewart, 1130 Pearl; four brothers, Dillon Greenlee, Route 3, Paul Greenlee, 2722 Fairlawn, Richard Greenlee, Taylorsville, and Ronald Greenlee, Sweet Water Lake; and two sisters, Virginia Proffitt, Route 10, and Mary Covert, 312 Coovert. Herman Otte's Father Walter Otte Seymour SEYMOUR Walter F. Otte, 74, 610 S. Carter, died at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday at his home.

His death was unexpected. A member of Immanuel Lutheran Church here, he retired in 1971 from Agrico Chemical Co. Memorials may be made to the new hymnal fund at Immanuel Lutheran, Otte was born Jan. 11, 1906, in Jackson County, the son of Henry and Henrietta Dress-elhaus Otte. He married Clara M.

Schroer Jan. 15, 1927; she died Oct. 13, 1975. Survivors include two sons, Herman A. Otte, Columbus, and Alvin A.

Otte, Seymour; one sister, Marie Otte, Seymour, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and one grandchild. Bookkeeper Jamesine Sweet Seymour SEYMOUR Jamesine (Jimmy) 60, 521 S. Broadway, died at 6 p.m. Saturday at her homft Her death was unexpected.

She-was bookkeeper-for Mann Bookkeeping and' Tax Service here. A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, she was VFW 9th District treasurer and past state president. She was a member of First United Methodist Church here, Ameri Joseph Woods Nashville NASHVILLE Joseph Woods, 77, Nashville route 1, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday at Bloomington Hospital following a one-year illness. He was the father of Thomas J.

Woods, 22nd Street, Columbus, Verlis Hayford, Candlelight Village, Columbus, and Pauline Bond, Columbus route 5. Woods was born in Brown County May 22, 1903, the son of James and Rebecca Henthorne Woods. He lived his entire live in Brown County, was a retired carpenter and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Other survivors include his wife, Mary Fleetwood Woods; two other sons, Ancil and Glenn (Buster) Woods, Nashville route two other daugh-ters, Jewell Heaton, Bloomfield, and Margie Ter-rill, Indianapolis; two brothers, Felix Woods, Nashville, and James Woods, Blooming-ton; a sister, Rebecca Floyd, Nashville route 1, 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Creekmore Smith Valley EDINBURGH Carole E. Creekmore, 49, Smith Valley, died early Wednesday morning at Community Hospital at Indianapolis. She was born in Edinburgh and was a member of the Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was the sister of Donald Phillips, Columbus. Mrs.

Creekmore was born April 22, 1931, the daughter of Garnett L. and Hesper Pruitt Phillips. She was married to George Creekmore, who survives, Aug. 12, 1947. Other survivors include two sons, Fred T.

Creekmore, Nineveh, and Timothy Creekmore, Smith Valley, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Ann. Formerly of Klrtt Mary A. Wilson North Vernon BROWNSTOWN Mary Alice Wilson, 93, formerly of Kirtz, died at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hoosier Hills Health Care Center at North Vernon.

She had been ill several years. She was a member of Kirtz Nazarene Church. Mrs. Wilson was born Sept. 1, 1886, in Jackson County, the daughter of Leander and Louisia Hanner Lockenour.

She was married March 2, ,1908, in Jackson County, to George Wilson. He died in August 1944. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Harold Tatom, Seymour, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Juanita Wray; one brother, two half brothers and a half sister.

Leona Bennett's Mother Mamie B. Turpin 5480 25th St. Mamie B. Turpin, 90, a resident of Columbus Nursing Home, 5480 25th, for the past 12 years, died at 10:14 a.m. Mon-day at Bartholomew County Hospital.

She was the mother of Leona Bennett, 2131 California Mrs. Turpin was born at Hartsville Oct. 23, 1889, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Updike.

She was the widow of Harris Turpin and was a mem Edward F. Ogilvie 2101 Seventh Edward F. Ogilvie, 52, 2101 Seventh, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday at his home, following an illness of about one year. He retired from the Maintenance Department at Bakalar Airport in October 1979.

He was born Feb. 9, 1927, in Columbus, a son of James Franklin and Rose Cox Ogilvie. Ogilvie was an Army veteran of World WaII and a member of American Legion Post 24, Veterans of Foreign Wars.Post 424. Fraternal Order of the Eagles 741 and Civil Defense. Survivors Include the mother, Rose Romine, 2101 Seventh; a brother, Walter H.

Romine, Pompano, three sisters, Frances E. Potts, Beech Grove, Alice G. Reeves, 2061 Wallace, and Ethel Irene McCoy, Merrillville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Rosalie June Schultz who died in 1970. A brother.

Joseph L. Crouch, also preceded him in death. Harvey Ostick's Wife P. Albertine Ostick 270514th D. Albertine Ostick, 76 2705 14th.

died at 12:50 p.m. Friday at Bartholomew County Hospital. Mrs. Ostick, who had been seriously ill about one week, was the wife of Harvey F. Ostick, who survives.

Sue was born Feb. 16, 1904, in 'Stockton, 111., a daughter of James B. and Mary Pepoon Townsend. She and Mr. Ostick were married April 23, 1927, in Milledgeville, 111.

Mrs. Ostick taught school in the Stockton area, for several years and attended DeKalb (III.) Normal School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she attended the Phi-latheaClass. Mrs. Ostick, also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star chapter at Stockton, United Methodist Women.

Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Union, Opti-Misses Club and Modern Matrons Extension Homemakers. Other survivors Include two sons, Stanley E. Ostick, "895 S. National, and Lt. Col.

Charles T. Ostick, Kokomo; three daughters, Donna M. Ostick, 2705 14th, Marilyn L. Line. 2860 Thompson, and Sally L.

Eckelman, West Lafayette; two brothers, Maurice O. Townsend and Howard H. Townsend. both of Stockton; a sister, Helen A. Pierce, Stockton; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son. John Ostick; a sister, three brothers and a grandson. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church. Albert Hoeltke'i Wife Florence Hoeltke Route 13 Florence Hoeltke, 79, Route 13. wife of Albert Hoeltke, died at 2 a.m.

Sunday at Bartholomew County Hospital. She had been in failing health since 1962 and seriously ill six months. Mrs. Hoeltke was born in Sandcreek Township Sept. 19, 1900.

the daughter of Edwjard and Sophie Vogt Armuth. She was married to Hoeltke Feb. 27, 1924. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the church's Women's Missionary League.

She lived her entire life in Bartholomew County. The event was part of an Indiana history class. Quinco's Board Hears Madison Hospital Head Formerly of Crothersvlile Bessie Lowe North Vernon CROTHERSVILLE Bessie E. Lowe, 74, former resident of Crothersville residing at the Hoosier Hills Health Care Center, North Vernon, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday at Jennings County Hospital, North Vernon, after a lingering illness. She was a member of the United Methodist Church here and Royal Neighbors of America.

She was born Sept. 1, 1905, in Scott County, the daughter of Charles C. and Cora Whitsitt Lowry. She was married in 1924 at Indianapolis to Joseph H. Lowe.

He died in May 1970. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Richard Mellen-camp, Seymour, and Mrs. Norman Panzi, Lehigh, Iowa; three brothers, Lester Lowry, Kansas City, Charles E. Lowry, Madison, and Leland Lowry, Charlestown; three sister, Carmen Lowry, Lexington, Doris Burton, San Diego, and Lynn, McAdams, Scottsburg, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one son. Retired Hog Breeder F.G. Waddle Hope route 2 F.G. (Colonel) Waddle, 75, Hope route 2, died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday at Bartholomew County Hospital after being in failing health several years.

He was a retired breeder of registered Duroc hogs and a retired auctioneer. Waddle was born in Bartholomew County March '24, 1905, the son of William H. and Elizabeth Graham Waddle. He married Velma Rutan in 1929 and she survives. He attended Hope Baptist Church.

Other survivors include two daughters, Ethel Louise Sig-man, Hope route 2, and Elsie Mae Hatton, Flat Rock route a son, James Robert Waddle, Hope; a brother, Flavius Waddle, Florida; a sister, Leora Cooper, North Vernon, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Quinco Consulting Center's board of directors heard a report Wednesday night by Jerry Thaden, superintendent of Madison State Hospital. He outlined the hospital's goals and objectives for the next five years and spoke about the shared responsibilities of Quinco and the hospital. The board adopted a statement for the center's by-laws: "The purpose of this corporation is to improve the mental and emotional health of individuals in Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson and Jennings counties and other Dessa V.

Myers 338 Jewell Dessa V. Myers, 80, 338 Jewell, died at 2:40 p.m. Monday at Columbus Convalescent Center. She was a native of French Lick and a member of Weslyan United Methodist Church. Mrs.

Myers was born Nov. 23, 1899. She was the widow of William Chester Myers who died Nov. 14, 1956. Survivors include a son, Robert Myers, Mooresville; a daughter, Betty Wilson, Orlando, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and two half brothers. Israel Sanders' Widow Sadie Mae Sanders Hope Sadie Mae Sanders, 61, 219 Walnut, Hope, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday at her home. She was the widow of Israel Sanders who died in 1976. Mrs.

Sanders was born in Marshall County, Tenn. Included in the appropriation were $7,500 for police depart-meitf salary anoxwages; for a clerk-treasurer's bond; $4,250 for the town's portion of a mechanic's salary; and $2,400 for a building inspector.
