Christian Church Group Holds Affair Friday Evening Program Presented GREENWOOD, May 8. Mothers of the members of the King's Eaughters class of the Christian Sunday school were guests of honor at a banquet held at the church parlors Friday evening at 7 o'clock. Rooms and tables were gayly decorated with spring flowers, and a color scheme of pink, blue and white was carried out in the appointments and place cards. Members of the decorating committee were Miss Frances Sheek, Mrs. Ruby Scott and Mrs. Patro Fogle-man. Miss Sheek headed the group. Miss Nellie Polley was chairman of the program committee and was assisted by Mrs. Bertha Mullikin and Mrs. Lois Terhune. Mrs. Harley Harbert. president of the class, presided, and Miss Polley acted as toastmistress. Mrs. B. D. Yount, teacher of the class, gave a short address . of welcome and responses were given by Mrs. H. L. Surface. Mrs. Frank Sheek and Mrs. Spangler. of Lizton. mother of Mrs. Murray McKee. The musical program included a duet by Mary Ann Totten and Ber-nice Harmon, a solo bv Miss Pauline Wright, and a chorus by six young girls, including Mary Ann Totten, Bernice Harmon. Ro.salyn Mullikin, Ruth Ann Daub and Patty Smock. Members of the dinner committee were Mrs. McKee and Mrs. Robert Smock.
